The Montana™ Expansion card runs along with the highly acclaimed Frontier Dakota™ PCI audio card doubling the Dakota's 16 channels of I/O while adding video/word clock synchronization facilities. The Dakota has two pairs of ADAT optical ports for 16 inputs and outputs, S/PDIF digital stereo I/O, ADAT 9-pin sync input, two MIDI in and outs and an internal CD-ROM digital audio transfer cable for direct audio from your computer's CD-ROM drive. The Montana adds: 16 more channels, word clock sync and an ADAT 9-pin sync output.
The Frontier cards are considered one of the finest way to get audio in and out of your PC and are supported by all the major software systems including Nemesys' GigaSampler. The Montana features a dual slot layout that you can install in either a PCI slot or an ISA slot next to the Dakota card.
