A two-in-one unit, the CD-A700 is a CD player and auto-reversing cassette deck combination priced at $649. The rack-mounted unit fits into any pro or personal system with both balanced and unbalanced analog I/O and well as SPDIF digital I/O. The CD player and cassette deck work independently and with CD Sync, tape duplication from CD is a one button, "no-brainer" operation. The unit features a 12% pitch control for both decks and a 15-pin parallel control I/O for external transport control. CD features include: continuous CD/cassette play; individual counter; shuffle play, repeat play, program play, single play, intro check; fader start/stop and event stop; track skip and play tally. The cassette deck has all the usual transport controls plus return-to-zero, individual counter, Dolby B NR and reverse play and...of course auto-reverse.
