The Expresssion Acoustic Hybrid uses a patented neck design that provides extreme stability and reinforcement for the string's acoustical energies. The central bracing system is said to remove the structural necessity of the top and back plates. This departure from traditional guitar-making allows the top and back plates to be free of braces and therefore transfer sound more efficiently between the two plates and the bridge.
