Suede is a new series of Remo drumheads with sound qualities said to be somewhere between the resonance of Clear heads and the warmth of the coated heads. Suedes are available in Diplomat (light), Ambassador (medium) and Emperor (heavy) weights. Along with the Suede texture coating, the new heads use an aluminum hoop and resin mounting scheme. The overall result is a better sounding head that is recommended for both stick and brush playing. Suede heads are available in snare drum, bass drum and tom-tom sizes.
