Fashioned after RCA's vintage 6L6GC "blackplate", the Russian-made Sovtek 6L6WXT+ has a larger plate and an improved grid structure for increased power handling. The tube also uses mica spacers with metal springs that eliminate tube rattle and microphonics. The 6L6WXT+ yields 20% higher output that a Sovtek 5881WXT and said to give you superior tone and overall better performance than any other 6L6 or KT66.
