Built to take the rigors of the modern shred master, the Redline 1 guitar from Canadian manufacturer Godin features the wonderfully simple and effective combination of one pick-up and one volume knob. The guitar's overall tone and sustain is possible by the design: a "strings through" the silver leaf maple body with poplar wings. It also doesn't hurt that an active EMG-81 humbucker is used in the bridge position.
Speedy fingers will not be slowed by the fast and sleek rock maple neck with ergo cut rosewood fingerboard and super jumbo frets. Other features include a newly designed, aggressively styled Redline 3 & 3 headstock and the militant-looking black graphite SG finish.
