The very popular signature Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster guitar is updated just a little to make this model more like his current number-one Fender guitar. Updates include a white/black/white pickguard, bullet truss rod nut and a new neck shape mounted with four machine screws.
OK if you are not familiar with the exact details of Yngwie's Strat, know that it has a scalloped fingerboard on its neck and its made at the Fender factory in Corona, Calif. The body is made from alder and the neck is nitrocellulose lacquer finished maple. There are 21 super jumbo frets on a 25.5-inch scale and you get a brass nut and all chrome hardware including Fender Vintage "F" style tuning machines. Yngwie goes for the American Vintage Sync tremolo bridge and a DiMarzio HS-3 stack at the bridge and a DiMarzio YJMs at the neck and middle positions.
The Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster comes in Candy Apple Red, Vintage White, and Sonic Blue polyurethane finishes. You also get a vintage tweed case, strap, cable and a Meguiar's Mist and Wipe kit.
