You get a lot of very high technology packed into the new DSR Series of Yamaha's active loudspeakers. The line includes the compact and lightweight full-range DSR112, DSR115 and DSR215, and the DSR118W subwoofer. These speakers have built-in 1,300-watt Class-D amplifiers (except for the DSR118W at 800-watts), Digital Tuning, Dynamic Control and extensive DSP protection.
Integral Digital Tuning enables high definition sound quality via 48-bit digital signal processing while the digital crossover networks use linear phase response that is said to beat typical analog filters. The D-CONTOUR multi-band dynamic processor monitors output levels and varies the amount of boost in each frequency band for better clarity at any volume level. DSR speakers also use 24-bit discrete AD and DA converters for a direct digital connection to your system.
