Steven Dubin used to live not too far me in the San Fernando Valley, CA. This made working with him easy and immediate. He is a drummer who played in soul/jazz oriented bands in Philadephia and then, after moving to LA, re-invented himself....first as a drum programmer then again as a producer/songwriter. I met him at the MCA publishing studios while he was working with his partner, Jeff Pescetto, an MCA writer at the time. Dubin would program and co-write with Jeff; together, they eventually set up a studio at Steven's house in Studio City. His talent is centered around coming up with fantastic grooves and song ideas while nuturing a creative atmosphere. This has led him to many successful songwriting and production collaborations including Robbie Nevil, Kevin Savigar, Najee, Siedah Garrett, Jeff Lorber and Richard Elliot.
