Clavia makes buying their Nord Lead 3 or Nord Rack 3 Performance Synthesizers even more attractive with the release of a new operating system (ver 1.2) that includes a sound library and a librarian for (PC). Version 1.2 is the fourth official software upgrade for the Nord Lead 3 Performance Synthesizer and is free of charge when downloaded from www.clavia.se
A major feature and improvement is that you can save entire programs in any of twelve different Sound Categories accessed with a keyword search function. The Arpeggiator, besides the basic patterns of up, down, up & down and random, has a second arpeggiator called the Sub Arpeggiator. Each step in the Arpeggiator is further divided by the Sub Arpeggiator into its own series of steps. The Arpeggiator also uses MIDI Song Position Pointer for complete external control. The Sound Library in version 1.2 holds more than 1000 Programs (single sounds) plus 162 Performances (multi-sounds). The Nord Sound Manager program for Windows PCs is designed for easy backup, transferring, rearranging and sharing of Programs and Performances.
