Music Studio Generation 6 is an entry-level PC program that allows you to compose, arrange, record and mix music. This new version includes three virtual instruments and one .wav file player with over 1800 sounds. The program also has VST 2.0 for additional virtual instrument plug-ins like reverb, delay, chorus, filter and more. This adds to the already 1,000 track MIDI sequencer, 48-track hard disk recording and audio mastering capabilities in the Music Studio. The professional mixer has four effect busses with insert points. Also new is the ability to add and edit MP3 music files you may already have in your PC.

MSG 6 has real-time effects (like pitch-shifting, time-stretching, and resampling), adjustable FFT filter, graphical five-band equalizer, surround sound mixing, drum loop functions (like repositioning drum beats) and video integration capabilities for soundtrack production...you can even print sheet music. Other very pro features include: synchronization with SMPTE, MTC, or MC (master and slave); import/export .wav files or .wav with codecs like MPEG; Q-design encoder with 20 free runs; import and export MIDI files in GM, GS or XG schemes; export songs in Magix's playR format; export streaming audio using WMA, RealAudio or QuickTime.
