| RMX Series Power Amps from QSC

There are three models in the new RMX line of studio audio power amplifiers with up to 2400 watts in low-profile, two rackspace cabinets.
The RMX 850, RMX 1450 and RMX 2450 offers 830, 1400 and 2400 watts into 4 ohms bridged, respectively. All amps feature high-current toroidal transformers for superior 2 ohm performance and low noise. The amplifiers include switchable low-frequency filters at either 30 or 50Hz to boost system response, protect speakers and ensure low-end tightness by better matching the amplifier's frequency range to the loudspeakers. This protection is enhanced by separate, user-defeatable clip limiters to reduce distortion without limiting max performance. Other features include: front-mounted gain controls for easy access; signal and clip LED indicators; balanced, 1/4-inch TRS, XLR and barrier strip inputs; binding posts and Neutrik SpeakonTM outputs; independent DC and thermal overload protection on each channel; and a continuously variable speed cooling fan.
