Vox ValveTronix Venerable VOX amplifiers goes forward with a new line of digital modeling amplifier designs. Korg's ToneWorks division along with VOX developed the ValveTronix Series that feature Korg's Valve Reactor™ technology--where a tube power amp with an output transformer electronically connects to the solid-state power circuits. Valve Reactor technology also has the ability to switch automatically between Class A and Class AB depending on the amplifier it's modeling.

The Valvetronix'power amps are capable of modeling 16 different legendary amplifiers. So far there are two models in the VOX Valvetronix Series: the AD60VT (60Watts, 1 x 12) and the AD120VT (2 x 60 Watts, 2 x 12). Both replicate amplifiers such as a Tweed 1 x 12, Tweed 4 x 12, AC15, AC30TB, US High Gain, Boutique OD/Clean as well as other UK amps. The AD60VT and AD120VT have 32 programs (4 channels x 8 banks), 21 effect types (10 Pedal Types, 5 Modulation, 3 Delay, 3 Reverb) plus noise reduction, an FX loop, external speaker out, plus a power select switch that lets you choose from 4 different output wattages. In addition, both amplifiers have a built-in Korg chromatic tuner and Celestion 12" speakers.

Pedal selection includes: ten stompbox types; 16 amplifier choices; Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Presence and Master Volume controls; Effects Section including Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, Rotary Speaker, Delay, Tape Echo, Multi-Head, Spring, Room and Plate and a Bank/Manual/Write/Tuner/Channel Section.

The Valvetronix amps feature a sturdy, road worthy cabinet design with deep blue grill cloth and gold piping. Prices are: AD60VT at $899 MSRP and AD120VT at $1199.
